Victoria Ballet Theatre’s “Fall for Dance” will feature a mixed repertory of classical and contemporary pieces highlighting the talent of our company. Victoria Ballet Theatre dancers will perform repertoire by renowned choreographers such as Nao Kusuzaki and Lee Wei Chao, as well as works by local professional and emerging choreographers. In celebration of our 40th Season this year’s Fall for Dance will also feature works and performances by VBT alumni Melanie Sistrunk Kregel, Dr. Golden Wright, Laurie Guerra LaCour, Shaina Branfman Baira and Ella Porr. Join us as we kick start our season with a celebration of dance in Victoria!

Victoria Ballet Theatre proudly presents the timeless holiday tradition, “The Nutcracker”. Featuring a cast of community members, dancers, and special guest artists, “The Nutcracker” is set to one of Tchaikovsky’s most enduring scores for the ballet. Choreographed by founding director Debbe Busby and a Victoria tradition since 1985, you don't want to miss out on the beauty and magic of Victoria Ballet Theatre's "The Nutcracker".

The Victoria Ballet Theatre is excited to present guest professional dance company AILEY II, from New York City. Ailey II is universally renowned for merging the spirit and energy of the country’s best early-career dance talent with the passion and artistry of today’s most outstanding choreographers. Founded in 1974 Ailey II flourished into one of the most popular dance companies in the country. The company’s repertory has included works by dance masters Alvin Ailey, Talley Beatty, Donald Byrd, Ulysses Dove, George W. Faison, Lar Lubovitch, Judith Jamison and Ailey’s Artistic Director Robert Battle to name a few. Ailey II’s 12 rising stars inspire audiences in dozens of cities across the globe.

Victoria Ballet Theatre will close their 40th Season with a celebration of “40 Years of Flight”. For the first time ever, the Victoria Symphony will be accompanying the company in an evening of dance. The special matinee performance will feature “Swan Lake” Act II as well as VBT’s premiere of Thom Clower’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. Season donors will be invited to a special post show celebration. Get your tickets now for this exciting event!
